Heavy Duty Root Barrier

Migration and spreading of plant roots can cause costly damage to pavements, roads, building foundations and buried installations. Root Barrier can save property owners hundreds of thousands of dollars annually in expensive repair bills from intrusive roots. Made of recycled polyethylene, Root Barrier is lightweight, flexible, yet extremely durable and resistant to UV, chemicals and fungus.

Terram RootGuard (Water Permeable)

In some instances it may be necessary to have a water-permeable root barrier. Although permeable root barriers may not provide the same resistance as HDPE barriers they still provide a high level of protection and excellent resistance. All these benefits are offered whilst allowing root system of plants access to moisture. Also can be used in areas with surrounding land drains where water needs to freely drain. Terram RootGuard is a geotextile manufactured from Polypropylene/Polyethylene fibres. It provides excellent resistance to root development, confirmed in numerous trials and commercial projects. Has high tensile strength and high puncture resistance.

Dimpled Root Barrier is a lightweight high density polyethylene membrane that is extremely durable and resistant to UV, chemicals and fungus. The dimpled texture on surface helps direct root movement downwards to encourage deep rooting to anchor trees and avoid root circling.
