EcoCoir Erosion Mesh is an eco-friendly coconut mesh. It is a durable, natural anti-erosion blanket which is used in areas subject to high wind and rainfall conditions where vegetation is hard to establish. Its most popular use is on exposed steep faces prior to hydroseeding. The fibres help protect the seeds and mulch from being washed away and reinforces the soil surface whilst its germinating. Its open weave will not provide weed suppression but creates an environment for vegetation to successfully establish.
Two grades available – 400gsm & 900gsm
Choose 400gsm for general slope stabilisation and light erosion control. Choose 900gsm for steep batters, high rainfall/runoff areas, or where maximum strength and durability are needed.
