Absolutely! While Fiberguards are biodegradable, many people choose to recycle them if they’re no longer needed before the biodegrading process begins. They can be donated to an organisation or individual who can use them to protect native plants, or placed in a cardboard recycling bin for proper disposal.
Thanks to their biodegradable properties, Fiberguards are designed to last between 12 to 24 months. However, in areas with strong winds or wet conditions, the breakdown process can be accelerated.
And yes, Fiberguards are proven to protect against rabbits. Please note that while both the 300mm and 450mm sizes offer protection from rabbits, only the 450mm height will also guard against hares.
