Tree shelter tubes for willow & poplar poles.
KBC™ Willow & Poplar Sleeves are twin walled, rigid tree shelter tubes designed for protection against possum, sheep, cattle and deer. Made from UV-stabilised recycled plastic, they are fully recyclable using our ‘Plant Guard to Post Recycling Scheme.’
Designed with flared rims, they minimise stem abrasion and have perforated ‘easy-tear’ laser lines to allow the sleeve to split as the tree grows. The green colour allows the correct balance of light wavelengths to be absorbed by the tree – a process called photomorphogenesis.
Available in 3 sizes as standard – 1.2m for sheep, 1.7m for cattle, and 2m for deer. They come nested in packs of 3 sleeves, and outer bundles of 27. Diameter of each sleeve nested is 120mm, 110mm & 102mm.
