Plantskydd® Animal Repellent

Plantskydd® is a 100% natural spray-on repellent effective against most herbivorous pests such as rabbits, possums, hares and deer.

Developed in Sweden in the 1990’s, Plantskydd is now used successfully throughout Europe, North America and New Zealand to protect young plantings from animal browse.

Plantskyyd comes as a water soluble powder and is applied via a pressure sprayer to young plants. Popular with foresters, commercial planters, nurseries and home gardeners NZ wide, the smell is not offensive to applicators.

Benefits:

  • Effective against rabbits, hares, possums, deer and other wild herbivores
  • Proven protection for up to 6 months on dormant plants and 3 to 4 months during the active growing season
  • Economical lasts up to twice as long as other repellents, reducing application frequency and cost
  • All-season protection for annuals, shrubs, perennials, fruit trees, conifers, deciduous trees and natives
  • Does not wash off! Rainfast in 24 hours. Does not need reapplying after rain.
  • Odour-Based Repellent – Animals avoid plants before they bite – not after. Not offensive to applicators.
  • 100% Natural – Contains no synthetic additives, is non-toxic and is not harmful to animals, plants or the environment
